Birthday bitchesss.

Hi hunnies, hope you're all doing okay. Go grab a cup of tea or glass of wine and get comfy because this is going to be on the long side of blog posts.

On the 20th of May, it was my 19th birthday and boy was I spoilt rotten. I'm not a big birthday celebrator, always have a quite one. Quite boring some may say, but I really enjoy myself and Hun it's all about me on that day so I do what I please. However, it was also my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend, how time flies. The weather was absolutely perfect all weekend, couldn't of asked for any more. We had planned to have a big family BBQ on the Saturday - as me and Kyle were spending the day/evening together on my actual birthday. It was a lovely afternoon, so much food and alcohol, it went down a treat. Not everyone is in the photo, as some people had left or was inside and Kyle took the photo but here is some of us below.

Wake up.... IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!! The skies were blue, the sun was shinning and I could smell breakfast being cooked - what a way to wake up. Breakfast was incredible, as you may already know, I have always had pancakes for breakfast on my birthday as pancake day just isn't enough. One of the best birthday breakfast's to date, so yummy.

Present time!!! I knew what I was getting from my parents as I got given £100 to spend online, which was nice as I got to specifically choose what I was getting. I am going to do a clothing haul soon, so there will be details of the clothes I chose then. Got some good bits and some let downs, which are going to be sent back. But overall, so very grateful. They also bought me a blusher from Next in the shade coral, which I have wanted since my Mum had bought it for herself. I was never ever a blusher type of gal, but recently I have warmed to it and the combined colours from the blusher blend perfectly with my bronzer.

I mainly received money, as it was what I had asked for. But of course gin was on the list, I received 2 bottles of Gordons Pink Gin from my Grandma and my friends. I was absolutely over the moon, stocked up nicely. Gordons pink is honestly my favourite gin by far, such a refreshing taste.

Not only that, but I received the most beautiful Hendricks gin set from my brother and sister in law. It came with a gin glass, Hendricks gin and 2 tonic waters. It's amazing! The glass and bottle's are covered in pink glitter.... PINK GLITTER!! OMG, I fell in love. When you see it, I am sure you will fall in love too.

On the subject of gin glasses, I asked for the most pretty gin glass from Beckworth Emporium - which I received from my boyfriends mum and dad. The brand of the gin glass I believe is Sunny, but how pretty is it please? Can't wait to be sipping on my pink gin and lemonade in the sun.

I received glass galore this year, I got these really cool plastic gin/wine glass cups. One of them said 'Prosecco Princess' which was from my Auntie and Uncle, and the other said 'Gin Goddess' from my friends. I love these sort of cups, so cute and nice to drink out of. The gin goddess one has sequins in, loveeeee it.

My Auntie and Uncle bought me a Ted Baker cosmetic/toiletry bag, in pink - my fav colour if you didn't know. My Auntie was unsure if I was going to like it, but I haven't a Scooby why she had doubts, it so pretty and ideal. Can't go wrong with a cosmetic bag, especially Ted Baker.

My friends also got me some simple face masks and a Lush bath bomb - which is pink!! I thought I would try a face mask out before I wrote this blog, so then I can give my verdict. It was luscious, so hydrating and moisturising. When I first put it on, it was quite cold which was refreshing and I didn't want to take it off to be honest. The next morning, my face felt like a babies bottom. Before hand, I had exfoliated my skin, applied toner and moisturised to make sure my skin was clean before applying the mask. I swear by Simple, such a good, trusting brand. The girls definitely treated me with some Gordons pink gin, gin goddess cup and skincare/bath goodies. I was so surprised they had bought me anything, such cuties, love them xx

My wishes came true, Kyle really treated me this year. He surprised me with a weekend away to Paris with Disney Land tickets!!! I couldn't believe it, I was speechless. I have been to France/Paris plenty of times with my family, but Kyle has never been and I have always wanted to go with him. It is booked for October and I cannot wait, it's going to be such a lovely weekend. If you know me well enough, you will know I am not lying when I say I have already started planning things to do and restaurants to try. I love him so much bless him, he's good to me when he wants to be. Below is a picture of me and my little brother in front of the Eiffel Tower in 2014.

Me and Kyle had then planned to go to Foxton Locks and have a picnic, which was cute. It was so sunny, perfect weather for it. We both had 2 ice creams each which were gorgeous - Kyle got choco mint each time and the first one of mine was toffee and the second clotted cream. We didn't go all out on the picnic, as we had a big breakfast and we was having a good dinner out later that evening. Foxton Locks is very pretty, we sat on a hill with a beautiful view. We wanted to have a drink at the pub, but there was no seats in the garden and couldn't really be bothered in waiting to get one. Below is my outfit for the day, tags on my Instagram blog account: elsblogx.

We had a table booked at The Miller and Carter for 6.30, which we were very excited for. We had quite high expectations from what people had

told us, but we didn't experience the excitement they did. We both had a burger each, which was beautiful, you can tell it was high end meat. However, it was dripping with grease which put me off a little bit. I know we didn't have a steak as it was a steak house, but they should be able to produce just as an adequate burger as they do steak - not specialise in one thing. Of course, it was a lovely burger just not as good as our expectations. I would call it a posh pub. Yet, the cocktails were amazing, such a wide selection. We also got special treatment because it was my birthday, we had our drinks bought to us outside, whereas everyone else just waited at the bar for them. I also had my pornstar martini bought to me on a board with chocolate writing which was so cute - he spilt it a bit bless him, but such a lovely gesture. They also gave us a secluded table, away from others which was so nice. Again the tags for my outfit will be on my Instagram account for my blog: elsblogx

I hope you enjoyed reading about my birthday weekend, I will do a blog post on the clothes I ordered from my mum and dad. I may even included other recent purchases... we shall see. For now, au revoir et je t'aime.

Lots of love Els xx
